First off the good:

-Solid sturdy frame with ample space for your home office.
-Beautiful cherry finish was exactly the look I was going for.
-Locking file cabinets are good in theory but would be more of an annoyance than a deterrent.
-Came with a color matched fill pencil for those inevitable dings and scrape that happen in transit no matter where you buy from.

Next the bad:

-All drawer hardware is about as cheap as you can get.
-Instructions are vague, if you are not mechanically or projectively inclined then don't even bother with this desk.
-The center keyboard sliding drawer is an abysmal attempt at mass-produced engineering.
-I had to re-drill the holes three times before I found the right combination of screw locations to just make it fit.
-The slides are sticky and almost unusable.
-The magnetic retainers of the face of the drawer are week and in terribly conceived locations.

The piece is beautiful and manufactured well. This product is very difficult to put together. Most of the pieces do not come labeled and you basically have to guess that the piece the directions are talking about is the one that you selected. It took about 6 hours to put it together (with alot of expletives along the way...LOL). I would not recommend this for someone who is not very handy.
