This review is from: Harbor View Antique Computer Desk with Hutch Antiqued Black Paint (Office Product) I purchased this desk/hutch and I am very pleased with the quality and appearance. I will not tell you that this was a snap to put together. There were ALOT of pieces. But all of those little details that make it look attractive - had to be put together. The instruction booklet was very helpful. Page by page diagrams for each step. The instructions also have an actual size drawing of the hardware you use at each step. This unit is heavy. You will need help turning it over midway through and standing up when you are done. This is my advice to put together properly. TAKE YOUR TIME! This is a project. I spent 4 hours and then spent another 4 hours the next morning. Lay out the pieces exactly as they appear in the drawings at each step. DON'T USE A DRILL! Use a phillips with a comfortable grip. I don't have alot of hand strength, but I had no problem with the screws. Too much torque will strip the wood pre-drilled holes. So, once the screws are nice and tight, don't go for the... However the assembly was a complete nightmare! Just make sure you have a couple of days free to put this thing together. The company I bought it from was awesome and I would highly recommend them.
